Are these actually handmade?
Yes, genuinely. Every bowl is hammered by hand by artisan families in Kathmandu, the same way it has been for generations. No machines, no molds.
I want it for healing/meditation, not just sound. Does that matter?
It does, actually. Handmade bowls have small imperfections from being hammered by hand, and that’s exactly what gives them richer, more layered vibrations. A lot of our customers who use them for healing or therapy specifically ask for handmade over machine-made for this reason.
Which size should I get?
Smaller bowls (4-5 inch) have a brighter, higher tone and are easy to carry around — good if it’s your first bowl or you travel a lot. Bigger bowls (7-8 inch) go deeper and hold the sound longer, better for sound baths or group sessions. If you can’t decide, 6 inch is a safe middle ground. Or just message us — happy to help you pick.
Does it come with the mallet and cushion?
Yes, both are included. You don’t need to buy anything extra — it’s ready to use as soon as it arrives.
Will my bowl look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical — and that’s normal. Since these are hand-hammered, each one has small differences in patina or engraving. That’s part of what makes it yours, not a flaw.
Do you ship outside Nepal?
